Kate Oliver, LMHC, MEd

I have particular expertise in working with the intersection of body image, disordered eating and self worth. Pervasive diet culture has created a default “norm” where many of us feel it is necessary to change our bodies to fit this norm. I hold space for where this presents for any clients I support.

I am an affirming therapist with knowledge and training in supporting LGBTQA+ clients in various issues, including identity, eating disorders, body dissatisfaction and others. It is my passion to support all clients to begin to feel at home in their bodies, and to find that identity within themselves.

I also have experience supporting people who are navigating prenatal/perinatal/postpartum journeys. Whether the concern is fertility, mood disorders during postpartum, challenges with identity changes in motherhood or parenting challenges in general, I am here for it all.

I hold a Master’s degree in School Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Dietetics and Food Science.

When I am not in my beautiful office, you can find me wrangling my own two boys, going on walks and hikes around the Snoqualmie Valley and reading.
